Nordstrom bistro

Today I decided to have lunch at one of my favorite places to eat while shopping at the mall - Nordstrom's bistro.  You see, while you could have something quick from the food court, chances are this "something" would be either somewhat edible, greasy Chinese, a calorie-loaded sub, burger or pizza slice that is dripping with oil.  Well you get the idea.  I mean, OK, I get it, maybe I am alone here with my general dislike of mall food, but hey, to each his own, right?

So back to our dear Nordstrom; I personally like their food choices a lot.  For a very reasonable price you can get something delicious, hearty or light.  Dishes are prepared quick and service is great.  Menu does vary throughout locations, but here's some ideas of what they have:

Goat Cheese Tart
Cilantro Lime Shrimp
Warm Asian Glazed Chicken
Herb Roasted Chicken Pizza
New York Strip Steak Sandwich
Salmon with Gazpacho Salsa
Seared Scallops with
Sweet Potato Cakes

So today I had an artichoke chicken and
goat cheese salad with dijon balsamic vinaigrette and it was delicious!  Organic baby greens, roasted chicken breast, marinated artichoke hearts, chunks of goat cheesegrape tomatoes and garlic croutons.  Yummy and guilt free!
